Accountant Level II

The Broward MPO seeks a highly skilled Accountant to enrich our team. We are looking for a professional whose expertise in finance and accounting will complement our existing staff, ensuring that our organizational goals are met efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Human Resources Management: Assist with the financial aspects of human resource functions including payroll preparation, reporting, and benefits administration.

General Accounting: Assists with Accounts payable, accounts receivable, disbursements, bank deposits and accounting of revenue collections, fixed assets, and Purchasing Card. Demonstrates extensive knowledge and experience in General Accounting practices, including adherence to GAAP standards and financial reporting.

Grant Management: Provide support to Finance department in preparing grant reimbursements, grant monitoring and reporting.
