Join Our Team as a Grants and Contracts Manager!

Are you a meticulous and proactive professional passionate about compliance and financial integrity? We're looking for a Grants and Contracts Manager to oversee our grant and contract activities, ensuring alignment with federal, state, and local regulations.

In this vital role, you'll be the primary liaison for grants, contracts, and procurement compliance. You'll support internal departments in maintaining sound financial practices, safeguarding funding, and mitigating organizational risk. You'll also assist with preparing and submitting grant proposals and reports.

 

What You'll Do in the Grant Life Cycle Management:

  • Ensure Compliance & Mitigate Risk: You'll be the guardian of our policies, ensuring they align with federal and state regulations, including 2 CFR Part 200. You'll monitor internal controls, identify potential noncompliance or audit risks, and coordinate with legal, finance, and program teams to address them.
  • Manage Contracts & Financials: You'll prepare, review, and amend federal and state contracts, ensuring strict adherence to current legislation. This includes tracking progress, managing change orders, and meticulously preparing invoices and payments. You'll also maintain financial data, support accounting functions, and coordinate with finance staff on AP, AR, GL, journal entries, and purchase orders.
  • Oversee Budgets & Reporting: You'll monitor federal contract budgets, ensuring fiscal accountability and assisting in forecasting future needs. You'll track project progress, ensure compliance, and coordinate with finance to submit timely grant vouchers, drawdowns, and all required programmatic and financial reports.

 

What We're Looking For:

  • Someone with a bachelor’s degree in public administration, Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in grants, contracts, or compliance-related work
  • If you are a certified Grants Management Specialist that’s a plus!
  • An individual deeply knowledgeable about federal and state grant and contract regulations.
