DEFINITION
Under the general supervision of the appropriate administrator specific to grant, the incumbent will coordinate the implementation of a grant. The incumbent ensures coordination of the activities that support achievement of grant objectives as described in the grant proposal. The incumbent ensures for regulatory compliance and for the management of the project budget. The incumbent works collaboratively with administrators and staff in the business office and grants office to support effective project management.
CLASS CHARACTERISTICS
This is a classified position. An incumbent in this position performs professional duties and shall make decisions concerning appropriate application of policies and procedures for the grant and the district. In this position, the employee will independently perform professional work, planning, preparation, and monitor grant funded projects. An incumbent will act as the subject expert to build collaborative working relationships, actualize grant objectives, and address the needs of target populations outlined in the grant application in relation to the policies and procedures of the college. The incumbent will be self-directed and will have frequent interaction with students, faculty, staff, and administration.
Education and Experience:
A bachelor’s degree in a related field and two (2) or more years of related experience or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
This position is categorically funded, contingent on continued funding.
The desired start date is August 2025. This is a full-time, 37-hour, classified, 12-month position.
Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
