Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, audit, or financial oversight
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
Travel: Not currently anticipated. In the future, up to 50%
US Citizenship
Certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) highly preferred. Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or other compliance-related certifications are highly desirable.
Technical Skills: Deep understanding of GAAP and federal audit standards
Communication: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to clearly explain complex regulatory requirements to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Audit Reports: Experience developing audit reports and presenting findings to senior stakeholders.
Problem Solving: Proven ability to identify compliance risks and develop innovative solutions to address regulatory challenges.
Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented environment and collaborate effectively with both internal and client teams.
