The Grants Officer 2 is directly responsible for researching, writing, submitting and tracking grants to support Community Health System's programs and services. They will seek government, corporate and foundation grants to raise critical funds to benefit patient care and support fundraising initiatives throughout our health system. They will open new pathways of giving for the Office of Philanthropy. With thorough and timely reporting back to grantors and warm stewardship, they will also increase the number of repeat grants secured. 

 

Education
  • High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred
 
Experience
  • 2 years of grant and/or fund-development experience with established record of fundraising success or demonstrable experience securing grants, including grants of $25,000 or more required
  • Experience securing seven-figure state and federal grants preferred
  • Grant writing and/or fundraising experience in healthcare preferred
  • Successful experience in a project-management, major grant fundraising and/or campaign leadership role preferred
