JOB SUMMARY
The Office of the Vice President for Research, Sponsored Program Services (SPS) at the University of Connecticut (UConn) is seeking a dedicated Senior Subaward Specialist to manage, administer, and monitor the University’s subaward-sponsored research portfolio.
This position will be hired either at the Grants & Contracts Specialist classification (Subaward Specialist) or the Senior Grants & Contracts Specialist classification (Senior Subaward Specialist) dependent upon the incumbent’s experience, skills, abilities, and training as determined by the University. The Subaward Specialist works under direction and are given the latitude to make decisions on projects that they are accountable for delivering on. The Senior Subaward Specialist works under direction and has the latitude to make daily operational decisions driven by departmental policies and procedures.
