Grants Program Manager

General Purpose of Job 

The Grants Program Manager is responsible for leading the development, coordination, and oversight of the cooperatives grant programs. This role will identify funding opportunities, ensure compliance with grant regulations, manage budgets, and collaborate with internal departments to support SECO Energy’s strategic goals through the effective management of grant-funded projects and initiatives. 

Education 

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. 

• PMP or related project management Certification (required). 

• Job-related experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis. 

Experience 

• Five (5) years of experience as a Project Manager, managing enterprise-level projects in energy, utilities, or similar industries. 

• Prior experience managing federal grants (preferred) 

• Knowledge of NRECA initiatives and cooperative principles preferred. 
• Ability to work irregular hours for assignment completion and flexibility to change scheduling and report to work on short notice during emergency situations.
