  • Manages the grant financial activities of grantees, by reviewing and analyzing their compliance with federal and state financial rules and regulations and addressing all inconsistencies and errors and lack of financial documentation with the grantee. This includes the S.T.O.P Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), Victim Compensation, State VALE (Victim Assistance in Law Enforcement), Sexual Assault Services Program (SASP) and the Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) funding.
  • Provides technical assistance to grantee agencies, individually or in group settings, regarding financial grant management.
  • Reconciles federal and state encumbrances and expenditures of grantee contracts/agreements.
  • Approves grantees’ budgets and budget revisions for appropriateness and compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Provides financial grant management for assigned grantees awarded OVP federal and state grant funds.
  • Participates in the competitive grant application process by reviewing the financial portion of the applications for accuracy.
  • Monitors grantees’ compliance with federal and state financial guidelines and regulations. 
    Provides financial assistance to other grant programs within the unit and the division as needed.
