Position summary: AMC is currently seeking a qualified candidate to lead our grants management client services team. Preferred qualifications include experience with post-award management for government grants (state and federal); a high proficiency in working with numbers and spreadsheets, knowledge of Universal Grant Guidance, and bookkeeping and compliance experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join a growing firm - AMC has made the San Francisco Business Times’ list of Fastest-Growing Private Companies in the Bay Area for two years running - in 2024 AMC ranked #20 on this list.

Associate Directors (AD) at AMC lead consulting services teams and oversee a portfolio of clients and work orders. ADs provide management and leadership to team members, both employees and contractors, and lead initiatives to develop new service areas. The AD is evaluated based on how they carry out these responsibilities; the profitability of their client portfolio; their KPIs and those of their teams; and the degree to which their teams and clients reach success metrics defined in work orders (for clients) and goal setting worksheets (for team members). Typically, Associate Directors have 5+ years of experience working in a junior leadership role in a nonprofit fundraising or grant management setting. Associate Directors overseeing grant management often also have experience or formal education in business, finance, and/or compliance.
