Job Overview & Purpose:

The role of the Project Manager is to manage multiple implementation projects, model and track operational metrics, and manage internal work requests. This position works as a liaison among stakeholders and departments within AmpliFund and our external customers. This position works closely with the customers, subject matter experts, product, development, and sales teams. Reporting to the Portfolio Manager and working within the Implementation Team, this role works closely other Project Managers, Implementation Team Leads, Customer Success, Business Analysts, and Customer Support.

 

Essential Job Duties:

● Directly oversees all project traffic flow, measuring progress from implementation start to finish

● Handle a high-volume portfolio of customer implementations

● Provides project estimates and schedules. Monitors contract performance.

● Tracks business operational metrics, including capacity modeling and implementation efficiency

● Engages with Sales at point of sale or sooner, including scoping services and drafting Statement of Work

● Proactively identify and advocate for resolution of any issues that compromise deadlines, budgets, or overall quality of deliverables

● Participates in cross-functional team activities that may include requirements gathering, business process modeling, and other implementation activities

● Aligns customer goals with product functionality; manages customer expectations about product capabilities and enhancements

● Serve as a liaison for project consultants and partners that are driving their own implementations of our software or other services, such as data migration or system integrations

● Demonstrates excellence in retention practices for existing customers

● Ensures customer feedback requests have sufficient information for successful execution of work

● Works as a team member with Implementation members to implement customers

● Leveraging a consultative selling approach, seek out and initiate upsell opportunities

● Partners with others in the department to create/improve a standard methodology for customer onboarding

● Develops a strong understanding of our customers, business objectives, and company mission

● Engages personnel from other departments within company, as necessary including supporting internal projects and external work requests which may include projects such as market research, voice of the customer, RFP support or product / development support

● Performs other job-related duties as assigned

● Non-traditional hours may be needed, but not weekends

 

Minimum Qualifications:

● B.S. or B.A. required, ideally with a focus on Project Management

● 3+ years of product-related project management experience in enterprise software and/or B2B or consumer technology products, with solid track record of developing and launching/managing the implementation of successful web-based or consumer products

● 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional teams and spirit of high collaboration

● The ability to interact with business customers and internal teams simultaneously to bridge gaps and manage communications

● Proficiency at managing and prioritizing a portfolio of projects and deadlines simultaneously

● Strong communication skills with the ability to present information in verbal, written or visual form to a variety of audiences, from the internal team to customer executives

● Ability to self-manage and be an independent member within the larger project team

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills

● Highly analytical, data-driven

● Understands how to visualize and present complex data

● Ability to adapt to customer business processes

● Competent in MS Office and Project

● Ability to travel up to 25%

 

Preferred Qualifications:

● Experience in SaaS

● Basic Accounting knowledge

● Experience in grants management or target sectors

● Project Management certification (PMP / CAPM)

● Master’s degree, six sigma certification(s)
