Associate DIrector, Finance & Accounting

Under the supervison of the Deputy Executive Director & CFO (DED/CFO), this role is responsible for the oversight and management of the internal accounting operations.

The Associate Director is a key partner to the DED/CFO in ensuring that NASTAD's accounting systems and processes comply with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), Federal Uniform Guidance (UG), and strict internal controls, especially as it relates to our Federal Grant Awards.  The Associate Director's deep understanding of accounting systems will provide a unique perspective essential to maintaining optimal accounting processes, transparency, and accuracy.  The Associate Director will also oversee the NASTAD Finance & Accounting team, comprised of three finance professionals, and  is a part of the Organizatinal Leadership Team (OLT).  This role also has plenty of room for developement and growth.
